Transporation

I teach engineering at a small middle school in Massachusetts. Seventh grade students spend the entire year learning about the different modes of transporation (water, air, space, land). Projects include steam boats, gliders, rockets, maglevs and mousetrap cars. I use the book for supplemental worksheets after students have completed their hands-on work for the day. The stories and worksheets help reinforce science and math principles that go into the engineering of their vehicles.
