LOVED IT!!

I loved this book and the other in the series as well. I was facinated from page one. Its one book that leaves you feeling like you want so much more and you get it in book 2. Cant wait for another book. She is a very talented writer and I will definitly read whatever she writes.

Highly Recommended!

This is the first time I have left a review of a book, but I loved this book and felt that I needed to share it. I found the storyline captivating and the characters well developed. It had many twists and turns that kept me up late into the night reading. Basically I couldn't put it down. When I was finished, I ran to the book store to grab the sequel which is just as good! Not only is it entertaining, but it also made me stop and think about my own choices, courage and faith. I'm recommending it to all my friends. It's clean, good reading and I can't stop thinking about it!!

I loved this book

This book is about a girl, Marie, who goes to France during the time it was occupied by Germans in WWII. Her desire is to be with her fiance, Felix. Felix gets killed and she is caught and interrogated. It turns out that her interrogator, Rolf, knew Felix. He tries to make restitution for his death by protecting Marie. Rolf struggles to be a good person while he serves his Fatherland, but soon he will be expected to assist with Hitler's plans for the Jews. Marie learns to let go of her prejudice while she gets to know and love the German people. This story's locations include several places in France as well as towns in Germany and Switzerland. Its characters spend time with the Gestapo and concentration camps. WWII was brought to life. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. It was well written with good character development and good grammar. The plot moved well. It's a long book... but every page was worth reading. I can't wait for Sandra Grey's next book (the first chapter of the next book is included at the end)!

A Must Have!!!

This is a must read and must have book! If you love World War 2 history, suspense, and love, this book is for you. It is a book you will not be able to put down. I am impatiently waiting for the sequel to this book. The characters are so real and believable. You become a part of their lives and their struggles. I won't give anything away...you will have to read it to see for yourself.
