Ruff, ruff!....(Great Book!)

After having read over twenty books on the subject of dog training/handling, I place this one at the top!Not only does this book guide you step-by-step through the early stages of training a dog (referred to as the "Show Pup" stage), it guides you to a finished/polished hunting dog as well.What particularly appeals to me is the method of training. It is thorough, easy to understand, and if followed correctly will result in a "tail wagging" confident, bold hunting dog.I have had the opportunity to attend a training session with the co-author, George Hickox and found that the book correlates quite closely with his class material. The wealth of knowledge obtained from this book is comprised of a lifetime of training.I am currently teaching a 9-month old Lab following the books outline.
