Another book bought in a library book sale. I read this to my foster kids who also enjoyed it a lot. Nat Berger, a fourth grader, develops diabetes. He learns the ups and downs of having a disease he must monitor and control. It is a story that helps kids understand the disease. I have never read another book that addressed childhood ailments and how the children in dealt with them or friends who were inflicted. I found it very informative and interesting reading even for a story.
