Beautiful Story

I read this book in the early 1980's and it was one of the best books set in my favorite era the American Revolution. Megan Sayers is a young idealistic 18 yr old who meets her match in dashing ambitious 30ish Lion Hampshire who aspires to have a seat in the new Congress. I don't want to give anything away but Cynthia Wright takes you on a magical journey of these two falling in love and fighting it every step of the way and lessons vaulable lessons on life and love are learned on the journey. I highly recommend getting this book you will not be able to put it down and author Cynthia Wright also brings in George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, among other Revolutionary figures and teaches you some great history lessons.
