Football fans, of either gender, will appreciate the chance to introduce the young'un to their favorite sport. With touchable portions on each page, the reader can feel a leathery football, a silky jersey, a squishy knee pad, scratchy turf, and the all important shiny trophy! The book teaches them more than just some rudimentary football words, too. Children will learn simple adjectives, just by touching and feeling! If you like football you'll love this book! My 10 month old picked it up and kept saying ball, ball pointing at the cover.
