Too Wicked to Wed

Archie Mansfield bet and lost his familial estate to William Lucas Westmoreland. Archie's sister Helen arrives at Luke's home to try and get it back. Helen interrupts Luke who is engaged in incredibly erotic acts with several women when she locates him. Luke informs Helen that the only way to get her land back is to come to his bed for one month. Helen refuses. Luke insists. Then Luke offers to let her stay in her home a while longer if she will help him gain favor in society so he can meet his estranged father again. Helen agrees. Helen is discovering desire for the first time with Luke and Luke can't get Helen out of his mind. Soon their desires are unstoppable, but Luke is not the kind of man to stay. My Favorite from this author so far....

'Too Wicked to Wed' by Cheryl Holt was one her better novels. This author always had erotic themes along with secondary evil themes or people. In this novel the evil theme was less disturbing (no children) and overall some great twist and turns. I am looking forward to reading everything this author writes.

TooWicked To Wed

I enjoyed this story this was my first book I read by Cheryl Holt and it won't be my last I found this book to be sexy I like the male and female lead in the story I can't wait to read some of her other books

Great Romance!

I love her books and usually get sucked in by the first chapter. I was up at 2 in the morning finishing this one up and it was wonderful. I love her subplots and they make her books all the more worth the money. This was a great love story and I like the depth of her characters. Westmoreland wants to be accepted by his father and "society" that he looses sight of what is important and how he feels about Helen. I loved Smith and Reilly's story and thought it was hilarious.

Arrgh be garr, mateys! A perfect pirate adventure!

Simple start--rotten, wastrel brother bets the family estate and his sister in a card game with a pirate--and loses! From there a winning love story emerges that involves hidden identities, how one truly defines a gentleman and not one, but two great love stories. This author can spin a yarn worth the effort and this time, the sensuality is understated and tender. When the two villians finally meet their well deserved justice, there has been so much character growth from their captor, that all that's left is to smile and enjoy.
