Little Fox is the center of Daddy's world--that is until Baby Fox is born. Now Baby Fox gets all of Daddy's attention. And what's worse, Daddy lets the new baby sleep in Little Fox's old crib and... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Little Fox finally comes to terms with being the "older baby" and has a nice chat with dad while they share some dad-made honey cake, which of course the baby fox is too small to eat. After dads read this, they could whip up any cake (or even use a cake from the grocery) and be sure to add some little holes with a finger and pour in some yummy honey. If you nuke it for a little bit (about a minute) the honey oozes all inside and makes a great gooey honey cake for Little Foxes and their Dads.
daddy's help too

Little Fox is daddy's little man. He thinks now that his baby brother is born that the baby will take his place. Join his and he and his father work out his feelings in a unique way. I like the fact that the book showed the father character taking care of the baby. We need more books like that in today's world. Moms are often looked at as the main care giver for children but dads today also need to take an active part. We would recommend this book to families who are getting ready to have babies. This would make a great story to read and discuss with young children about the way they feel about having a new baby in the home.
Mmm, Honey Cake

"Too Small for Honey Cake" is a book about having a new baby brother, written by Gill Lobel and warmly illustrated by Sebastien Braun. In "Too Small for Honey Cake," Little Fox misses his Dad's attention when Baby Fox is born. Yes, Little Fox is worried that maybe his Dad doesn't care so much for him anymore, since the baby seems to be getting all the attention. He's not sure what there even is to like about the baby. It's smelly and it can't play with him. "Too Small for Honey Cake" is a wonderful picture book that's good for anyone with a new sibling. And it's a fun read in general with nice illustrations to look at. Very warm red, orange and yellow tones, but very pleasant on the eyes.
