MaxUs mom makes some cookies and says Max and Emmy can only have one. But Max wants more When he takes a trip to Dragon Land, he learns just in time to stop--because there is such a thing as too much... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The premise of this book is that too much fun is no fun at all. Max thinks that he can never get enough desserts, carousel rides, or flying on Ord's back. But, when confronted with a full-size volcano which spews ice cream instead of lava, even Max can see that there exists such a thing as too much. I'm not sure my preschooler agrees with Max's decision. She loves this book, but I don't think she understands the point of the story, and I'm not sure she thinks there is a point. We have fun with it anyway, as would any young child who always wants more dessert.
