This book is another in a long line of excellent books for young children. Tomie de Paola is an excellent writer and illustrator. His books appeal to children and help them learn to read on their own using vivid illustrations and simple wording that create a desire for more.

I lived in New Hampshire earlier in my life and Tomie's book is so accurate and the best laugh I've had in a long, long time!
