GOOD BOOK! When I first started the book, I thought I had made a mistake but I'm glad I continued on because it got better. Nolan turned out to be an all right guy and Jillian was'n the rich B I thought she would be. The villian wasn't who I expected either. I would recommend this book. I enjoyed it.

Great start to Bodyguards Series

I read this book (the 1st in the Bodyguards series) AFTER the 2nd book in the series. I have to say, I really love them both... and actually like this one better. This was a great suspense story involving a high-society news reporter name Jillian, a mysterious stalker, and (what else?) a BODYGUARD named Nolan. Nolan is a great character... with a gorgeous body, a bit of baggage from being in the Army Rangers, and a wonderful heart. I loved watching the animosity between Nolan and Jillian turn into sensual tension and then, of course, love. And, of course, this lug-head Nolan fights it as he feels he is not good enough for her. THIS BOOK IS A REAL PAGE TURNER!! I also appreciate how Cindy Gerard creates a set of intriguing siblings who we can then follow into the other books in this series. The sibs, whose names start with the letters E, D, E, N (Ethan, Dallas, Eve, and Nolan) are part of a very loving family, but each is very different from the others. I can't wait to read more in this series!!

A fantastic read--excitement, danger-and fabulous romance!

I absolutely could not put this book down. So many suspense books are all about the action and have just surface emotions with occasional, almost meaningless sex thrown in. This book was exciting, sensual, deeply emotional and made me really care about the characters. Ms. Gerard is an incredible writer. Her book kept me up til three in the morning, and I cannot wait for the next two books in this series!!!!

I love this series by Cindy Gerard. I especially like it if you get from both man/woman what goes thru their heads. Usually in romance novels you only get the woman's side (and a little bit the man's side). In this book you get both, proving that even dark, handsome tall warriors are just human (most of the time I think). It's very heartwarming to read the guys thoughts and I think very accurate and human. I will buy all future books from this author !!!!

To The Edge

I'm used to reading Cindy as a Silhouette Desire author and I was so pleased to see her branching out to mainstream. This book was a great kick-off to the continuing series, offering believable characters with flaws, an element of darkness, and a mystery woven throughout the pages that will keep you guessing until the end. Did I mention the fabulous sexual tension?? This book does not disappoint, along with a setup for the next installment, To The Limit, due in Sept.
