Great book

It's been several years since I read this book, but when I seen there were no reviews on the book I wanted to put in a good word for it. It's a great story that is actually 2 in one I guess you could say. The first half is of a captain and his indian lover and the second half is of the child they shared. It's a great read that kept my attention. Like I said it's been a little while since I read it, but I remember enjoying the book.
