For all daughters

I gave this book to my older daughter when she was 15 and my other daughter, who has lived with me since she was 4 and I have since adopted, will turn 16 very soon. I will make her a gift of this book as well. It always brings tears to my eyes when I read these poems. It is truly a wonderful gift from a mother to a daughter.

It seems it was written for just me

Yesterday I found this book on a book sale outside my office. I was attracted right at the moment when eyes were on the cover of the book. When I opened the book, my eyes were full of tears. I have a little daughter and she lost her Mom last year. I had been wondering what the loss meant to my daughter. Now through this book, I know how much she missed her Mom every day.

My mother got me this book during Christmas time and I have to say that I really enjoy reading it in my spare time. The poetry and works in there are everything a mother would like to tell her daughter about life without insulting her. I beleive that the things that are said in it are true and wonderful. Considering the fact that Susan Polis Schutz pretty much dedicates this book to her daughter, this book is straight from the heart to any daughter.

Susan Polis Schutz writes down what I cannot say. What all mothers feel but can't put into words. I bought this book and read it together with my daughter. It is truly a book that I will always remember, and Susan Polis Schutz is an author that I will never forget
