I have read the book to cross a river. I feel that it is a very powerful look at one man's struggle and triumph in walking close to the Lord as possibly can. It captivated the reader in the sense that it goes from bottom to top, hard times to triumphant times, good times and bad times. It paints a good portrait of the early Evangelist times before the television ministry idea started.I feel that the reader will get to see a true side of this man who became and I quote "One of the greatest men in the Gospel of the 20th century!"
