So funny, heartfelt, and deep!

Have you ever said something about yourself or someone else, and then had an uh-oh moment, wishing you'd kept your mouth shut in the first place. Well, Becca doesn't have the uh-oh reflex. She tells her best friend and others every last embarrassing thought in her head. Until... I hate spoilers so I won't go into the plot, which was fun and totally believable. In fact, I loved, loved, loved everything about this book--Becca's exuberance, the things she thinks about, the things she talks about, her friends, her flights of fancy, and her big heart. She's so lovable and well-meaning, I forgave her all her mistakes. Which are numerous, hilarious, and heart-breaking all in one. If you love to laugh and cry, and then laugh some more, read this book!

Teen Blogger Not So Anonymous

Becca has a problem: She has a big mouth. Well, it isn't a problem to her, but to her friends, and especially her enemies. Oh, and her boyfriend, who dramatically breaks up with her after she spills one of his secrets and he finds out. She decides that instead of being a blabbermouth, she'll be a blogger, just like the glamorous New York blogger she follows. Meanwhile, she shares major news, like the fact that her mom is pregnant and her best friend, Jai, is gay. She's also managed to make an enemy of one of her school's Meanest Girls when she beats her out for the lead in the school play (Grease). As her friendships start to unravel, Becca has to rethink her oversharing, while also dealing with issues like her 3-year-old brother who always wants to be naked, and her new crush. Quigley makes Becca a likeable, if flawed, character, and while there a few loose ends that don't totally get tied up, she keeps us guessing. Becca's blog posts, with their alter egos and outlandish fantasies, are one of the best parts of the book, and Quigley makes us both want to hear more from Becca and want, for her, for her to learn to be a little more circumspect. Both strike a good balance and make this a great read.

This is one book I've been looking forward to for a LONG time and I was so excited to get a copy. I now must admit that it is one of my new-favorite books. Becca is probably the character I've been able to relate to most since I often tend of overshare a lot of information no one cares about. It tends to get me in a bit of trouble but like Becca, I find it really hard to stop. I understood everything she went through, her thoughts behind her not-so-smart actions and could easily see myself (re)acting the same exact way. The cast of secondary characters, particularly Jai and Katie, were also well-developed and relatable. Jai is probably one of my new favorite characters and I reread the major parts he played in the last few chapters multiple times. I wish I had a friend like him. I loved the part blogging played in the story, especially how we were actually able to see the posts she made. They were fun and often made me laugh. Besides, who hasn't made a slight smile from a crush into something more? The ending was perfect - I loved how everything wasn't necessarily tied up in a little neat package at the end but enough closure was given to be happy with it. My only problem with TMI was its slight predictability. Certain events were easy to predict pages before they happened. However, it was easy for me to get past this. Fun, entertaining read!

This book took me right back to high school. It was so fun to read that I finished it in one day. I hope there's a sequel soon.

Awesome blossom, extra awesome

So good, could definitely relate to the small town hype! Anything that makes you different is always exaggerated ten times more than it should be. Good use of word play and imagery as well. I thought that all the characters were very relateable especially Katie and that Becca was highly entertaining. I also liked the description of the Rod and Gun club who are typical townies. I have already recommended this book to my friends and look forward to future books, perhaps a series?
