This comprehensive guide provides the visitor with in-depth, authoritative coverage of the Belgian capital. It contains information on where to stay and eat and includes details on restaurants, bars, museums, art galleries and nightlife.
I just spent 2 weeks in Belgium, and although I had a lot of guide books, including Lonely Planet and Rick Steves, this one by Time Out was the best by far. It has the most information and the best recommendations. It's a good idea to call ahead to some of the restaurants, either for reservations or just to make sure they're still open. This book also has good, clear maps, which is critical in Brussels.
An exhaustive and unique guide to Brussels

Time Out Brussels provided a very comprehensive yet unique view of Brussels. The guide had just the right mix of the usual and the eclectic. The restaurant reviews were top notch, and the book's Survival section was indispensible. In short, this guide provides everything you'll need to have a first-rate experience in Brussels at any budget.
Good if you're just going to Brussels.

The Brussels information is great, but the info on Antwerp, Ghent & Bruges is pretty minimal & doesn't contain any addresses (just phone numbers), so you'll need another book if you plan to travel around Belgium.
