Entertaining and informative

I bought the Times for Kids Almanac 2005 as a Christmas gift for my nephew who was 9 years old at the time. His mom said he was so excited to have the book and couldn't put it down. Since then, I get him Times for Kids Almanac for him every year for Christmas. He is just as excited to receive this year's book. I quickly flipped through the book and learned some interesting facts myself. As long as he doesn't outgrow this series, I will keep getting it. Makes Christmas shopping easy for a pre-teen boy.

An Almanac of the World

Every year I await the new version of this book. My mom and I love it. I've learned so much and take it to school -- it is a hit! I am called "professor" because I wear glasses and know so many facts outside of our class. (i am in 5th grade). I guess I will be a geek someday. My favorite parts are history and the social sciences and everything to do with science and discoveries. Eric and Lillian (my mom).

Great little book of fun facts

I've gotten this book for my children for the past several years, but my husband and I read it as well. Easy enough for younger children to read, but interesting for all ages. It has some fun and interesting facts that we end up quoting.
