Recently ordered 4 of Time's 2008 almanac. Price was substantially lower than Publisher's list. Book is fantastic for research.

Essential Information In A Readable Format

Powered by Encyclopedia Britanica, the Time version of an almanac is outstanding. Nearly 1,000 of very readable pages - the larger font style and layout is a plus - is bolstered by an outstanding insert of color photos and maps. The insert alone is worth the price of the book. The index is not cluttered with too many headings, which helps when seeking information. And the standout section is the year in review, which encapsulates major topics with a journalistic touch. There are several almanacs on the market, but it is time - if you haven't done so already - to make a change to your yearly purchase to this great publication.
