A psychological disorder germinates in the Texas desert. They call it Shared Salvation Mania--commonly known as "The Dust"--and it makes the infected believe he or she can save the world. In a Hindu ashram, seven friends are reunited to try and make sense of idolatry and mystical transformations, uncertain if experiences are holy, or just existence, chance, destruction. And while they hide away, the nation falls to revolution between those who believe The Dust creates martyrs and gods, and those who think it breathes villains and demons. For if you fall sick, you will hunger to help others, indiscriminately. Does this form of madness need to be tamped?
