Thrilling and mysterious

I absolutely could not put this book down! While some people recommend reading Assassin's Blade later on in the series, I highly appreciated reading Assassin's Blade first. I was able to understand certain things that are mentioned about Celaena's past in this book. The mystery and suspense really added to the storyline. I absolutely loved each of the main characters, and I cannot wait to see how their story lines continue throughout the series.

Exactly what I ordered!

I love this book and wanted an OG cover so bad. It came exactly as ordered and is in great condition!

Not the book cover I ordered

I paid over $60 to get the specific cover I wanted and was not sent the one pictured that I thought I was ordering..

Love being in Sarah maas s world

My granddaughter talked me into reading this book I could not put it down and wrote her 11 questions while she was at work demanding the answers she put it on the website dedicated to this book everyone said they wanted to meet her grandmother. Strong women like Buffy always make for a good read.

Specifically ordered hardback edition and received paperback

Did not receive book as ordered

The savor of Action and the occasial bite of Romance.

Throne Of Glass was overall a good novel . The characters are easy to learn and tracking down who is who is a snap. You will love Celena's spirit and Chaol's leadership, Dorian's humble ways, and maybe you'd like the all-mighty king of Ardalan (for whatever reason that may be). The book is a kingdom, you can't write that correctly without some romantic relationships inbetween battles and training. The romantic scenes are nothing you need to worry about your child reading, the worse they will ever do is kiss and hug. They also don't focus on only that (atleast I don't believe so), it is usually when they have a chat. You will choose ships in here, whether you wish to or not it will happen. SPOILERS PAST THIS POINT Quick Summary: Celena is a slave in a mine who has now after years of being there is removed by the Captian of the Royal Guard, Chaol. Chaol takes Celena to the castle who then meets the king, she is now told she will be an assasin and after a certain amount of years she will be free. Celena agrees, and they are off to training. Celena finds a secret passage in her provided room under a wall tapestry and decodes to go down with yarn trailing behind her. She meets some spirit and is given a necklace, she out of the room. More training, and now competition. In the end she wins, skip to the end. Celena is poisoned by the duke and some lady (whom i have forgpt) on the battlefield. Dorian constantly begs his father to get Celena off the grounds. Her necklace drains of the poison enough to fight her opponent, she wins easily. Well she thought and Chaol finishes the job. Celena is now the Royal Champion and Ardalan's Assasin. NO MORE SPOILERS PAST THIS POINT If you like fantasy, you will enjoy this.

Good Condition

Unfortunately I received a paperback instead of a hardback, but this book is a great read.

Beat Fantasy Novel I've read since Harry Potter

This book was amazing. The author did a great job with the characters and the world building all the while keeping it interesting and thriling. Definitely recommending this to everyone I know. Great read fast paced and interesting enough to finish in one sitting especially the battle scene ooh! I just know Crown of Midnight will be just as amazing if not better.
