San Francisco as You've Never Seen It

Three Eighty-One takes us to the dark side of the Golden City. All too real -- you feel like you are sitting in the passenger seat as the cab driver takes you through a journey into the underbelly of the City. The protagonist -- a cab driver who dresses all in black -- is a very dark character himself and not always likable. With each twist and turn of the steering wheel, you're waiting for him to redeem himself.

City Ride

This book was a tour through the city streets. An adventurous yet dramatic novel of a young fellow, Trevor, who cannot confront his current life and decides to start a new one as a taxi driver. Leaving behind his past, adventures through tough barriers and confronts them towards the end. But what next?

Are you talking to me?

Marx lends his own creative, wry and dark humor to the story of a man caught between two worlds. Forget Robert DeNiro, meet Trevor, this decade's favorite cabbie. He's a good guy made unlucky by fate, and the assortment of characters he meets along his road of woe kept me up to the wee hours of the night. Kudos to Marx for driving us into the twilight.

The best book ever written!

Wow. This book was truly amazing. I read it in one night. David is the best author I have ever read a work by. I can't wait for Mr.Marx's next book. I was very touched after reading this book, and cried a little too. This book makes me feel like I am in the passenger seat of the cab. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr.Marx had some taxi cab experiances himself

Great Reading

Three Eighty-one is a page turner! I could not put it down. The main character is an interesting person whose development through the course of the story is fascinating. His relationship with the young boy is tender, bringing both a step closer to adulthood.I loved the setting, San Francisco, and the descriptions of the city. The author paints a beautiful picture with no excess of words. The whole book is tightly written.I loved this book and I hope Mr. Marx writes another one.
