This Is Your Season: Where You Will FInd Rest for Your Soul

Many do not understand that God has designated seasons for our lives. Therefore, we do not recognize which season we are in, making it difficult to transition from one season to another. When we are suppose to be in our Spring, our whining and complaining have delayed us in our Winter. We let Fall bitterness, filled with hurts and disappointments rob us of the joys we experienced in the Summer. Some are fighting with the devil when we should be seeking to have a love relationship with the Lord. Since we cannot control our spiritual seasons any more than we can control the natural seasons of time, why not make the decision now to accept our seasons and grow from them. In James 1:2-4 it reads, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (NKJV)." Every season is designed to make us dependent upon God and complete in Him so that we will lack nothing in our lives.
