Like salmon swimming up streams against the current, I caught Hell just talking about "The Goddess" in the Black community. However, it took a lot of courage just to be me and follow my calling after many years of struggle as a Community Activist in Civil Rights marches, Civil Disobedience, Black Panther Party, Women Rights, LGBT Rights. It shifted when I met Cecile "Coco" Jackson. I was living in my car, and going to work every day. She took me in, taught me how to reinvent myself and she led me to Rev. Goddess Charmaine Armatas, with her patience, teaching, and training. Finally, I found my niche. At age 73, I was initiated Crone Goddess, by Rev. Goddess Charmaine and Rev. Isis in 2011. The Goddess within became Rev. Goddess Arogam.
