A must have for Phillies Phanatics

Now-retired Philadelphia Inquirer sportswriter Allen Lewis teamed up with Phillies publicity director Larry Shenk to produce a reference book on the day-to-day history of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. Released in 1979, every important event involving the team from its founding in 1883 to early 1979 has been chronicled here. The good thing is this book is a nice compact paperback with relatively low cost; but the true Phillies sports fan will soon learn it's worth its weight in gold when any information on the team has to be researched.
