Something a bit different!

Although the synopsis of this book is vague it actually does have a plot. Our evil vampire, Van Diemen, has someone trying to buy his castle. Of course he doesn't want to sell and they'll do just about anything to get it. The story mainly focuses on what he does about this. There is also a lot of brutal, fairly pointless killing and his sporadic attempts at writing an autobiography, but it sets the scene and adds character to this strange vampire. You get to know him and understand him even if you wouldn't condone his attitude or actions. He isn't a likeable man - but you do end up feeling for him. Very original and a good read. Now I want a sequel
