Herman Cain for President!

I just ordered this book after hearing Herman Cain on The Neal Boortz Show. But even before I've read it, I can attest that it is excellent. Because Herman Cain's philosophy and attitude are geared toward achievement and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As a successful businessman and human being, Herman Cain displays all the traits of a great leader. We can only hope that he will someday achieve high office in America... Go Fair Tax! Herman Cain makes sense

I heard Herman Cain on Michael Medved's national radio show. I also seen Herman Cain in his U.S Senate political ads. Herman Cain is an extremely brilliant man, and a selfmade millionaire. He's very down to earth and he just makes sense. It's refreshing that some Americans of African decent are free thinkers, and not a slave to the democrat ideology like most are.

Excellent

Anyone who saw Herman Cain during his 2004 US Senate Campaign, has heard his radio program, or who reads his new book, They Think You Are Stupid, will come to see that Cain is a visionary and a leader. It's that simple. He is a man who has the ability to capture the attention of the reader or the listener in a way that very few ever have or ever will. His latest book is a portrait of the current political scene. It provides the reader with factual reasoning behind the core of the major problems facing the Democrat Party. He also shows the reader what the Republican Party is doing right as well as what they could stand to improve on. Cain sees the current political scene as an opportunity for the Republican Party to win over new members and secure itself as a major party for years to come, without compromising its core values. But he adds that the Republican Party can not wait for voters to come to it; to the contrary, it needs to reach out to these outsiders. He argues that having clear moral courage in the fight against Terror and having bold leadership skills on the big domestic issues such as replacing the tax code or fixing social security is a must for our leaders in Washington. It is also what frustrated voters, or the "politically homeless" are looking for in a candidate. Like the great Ronald Reagan, Herman Cain is a man of principal who must wait for the political tides to turn his way. Reagan spent his "wilderness years" doing a radio address and writing. How is Cain spending his "wilderness years?" Writing op-ed's, launching a radio program, and writing his first book on his vision for America, that's how! Cain is quickly emerging as a major force in American politics. With the "politically homeless" on his side, that time will come sooner rather than later. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I Think "They" Are Right

Yes, the politicians think you are stupid. Unfortunately they have a lot of evidence that they are right. Mr. Cain ran for office. He was defeated in the primary but took great pride in that he finished second in a three way race. Sorry Mr. Cain, but second in the primary is a long way from writing the laws. Mr. Cain says that our country has real problems. He is right. But the politicians have learned that the way to get into office is to talk about what an S.O.B. the other candidate is rather than promote plans fo their own. Social Security is in trouble. We all know that as the baby boomers retire the present welfare, non-acturarial, based system can't continue as is. President Bush has suggested one step to fixing it. The Democrats have a lot of poll data saying that using this to bash Bush is helping them. They have no incentive to come up with a plan. They even got angry when a Florida (where Social Security is a real issue) suggested part of one. The title of the book says, "They Think You're Stupid." And the sub-title should be, "And the voters are proving them right." This is an excellent book in so far as it talks about the problems facing America. I wish I believed his view of the smarter electorate.

They Think You Are Stupid

"They think you are stupid" is an outstanding book. Cain explains how there is an ever increasing number of American voters who are becoming "politically homeless" and who feel that their voice is not being heard by their elected officials. Cain goes through the history of the civil rights movement and uses excellent research and data to show how the Democrat party has failed African Americans in its policies on taxation and social security. Where the Bush administration and the GOP have floundered in effectively detailing the urgent need for changes in the social security system and in our tax system, Cain outlines perfectly, and ties these important issues together with the future of our economy, the Republican Party and the American voters. For anyone wanting to understand more about the Fairtax, social security reform, and the escalating numbers of Americans who are looking for a new voice, this is a must read!
