welcome to true crime

Readers who complain about this book being "boring," etc., overlook the fact that most true crime IS basically boring: i.e., there is a sordid sameness that becomes apparent the more one reads in this field. What the reader CAN get out of it is improved insight into human nature, things to watch out for in one's transactions with others, and a great starting point for further exploration into why criminals do what they do.
