They Are Watching You: The Age Of The Witch

A short story of Eunice Ives. The Dark Story
In the autumn of 1247 in an ancient place deep in the woods of Romania, lived a lonely mother and her daughter. They were outcasted from a neighbouring village of Constanta Romania, near the Black Sea. Eunice Ives was a witch, not an ordinary witch, she was a black witch. She would make potions to put her neighbors asleep so she can steel their pies and foods and sometimes farm animals. She would have gentlemen callers at all hours of the night, mostly asking for spells to have someone fall in love with them. Finally, Eunice Ives had enough of stealing and doing petty tricks, when she meant a count who had built a giant villa along the dark cliff, overlooking the Black Sea.
Eunice had purposely made a point to meet the count. But the count was not interested in Eunice. One wicked night has it stormed, Eunice made a love potion and brought it to the villa. She offered the count some pie, and he thanked her and ate it. He loved it so much, he wanted her. She seduced her lover the count and had a child with him. Months later they awaited the birth of her child. It was a girl, to the count's disappointment, he wanted a son.
When the spell were off the count threw her and the child out into the woods. Eunice took her daughter and left. She had no more power. The power she had was not strong enough. She wanted more power. Eunice had found the fabled devil's pond, where Satan at times would appear. Many witches had gone to him for advice and for power. Some would dance for him and in turn he would give them all the power they wanted. Eunice was greedy and she wanted revenge on the count. The two of them made a little stick house by the pond. Eunice would go out daily and try to summon the dark master. Finally, after a long time, he appeared to her. As she sat by the fogged swamp, the water began to ripple slowly and then faster. Then Eunice started to smell a repugnant smell. It was so bad that at one point she wanted to vomit. Then her master came up slower and slower as the water splashed. He was like an animal crossed with a demon. Tall and red and scaly, with hooves with scattered hair across his toes. His eyes yellow and green and his horns curled on both sides.
He asked Eunice in his deep voice, "What do you wish for me to give to you." She replied to him that she wanted power. He told her he wanted her to dance for him, naked. So, she took her clothes off. The creature in the water lusted after her. He took her right there on the bank of the swamp. After it was over, he agreed to give her the power.
She wanted to serve him as his witch and lover. He raise his arms and when he did Eunice lifted off the ground. Over the swamp she dangled, almost lifeless. Her arms were spread out as if she was being crucified. The devil raised his arm and pointed at her with his claws. A dark vapor came from the devil's mouth and nose; then flowed through the air to Eunice Ives. The vapor travelled right to her and through her mouth and nose, as she screamed, the power was absorbed into her soul. The power was given, and the power was taken. She screamed as the demons infested her body. She beg him for more and more and laughed.
Bell Ives her daughter watched from behind a leafless bush and cackled at her mother. She wished she could have the power, but knew she was still too young to handle the transformation. After about minute her so, her mother 's body was thrown from the air and she landed on the ground. Her eyes were black, and her own soul was gone and now replaced with demons. Eunice who use to have black hair, now had a streak of gray running down her back. She almost looked like she was broken on the ground.
The demons now flowed inside Eunice Ives; she was now the first to be the head of the coven the Daughters of Darkness.
