A Real Eye Opener!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! When you read this book you will find out the sufferings that this HOLY woman went through. A GREAT book for Lent!!!

Exellent!!

I read this book 50 years ago and was very impressed with all the pictures and story of Therese Neumann. I was without this book for about 40 years and every time I looked for it over the years I had no luck. I finally was able to get a "used" copy for peanuts and the book was brand-spanking NEW!!! I'm not losing this one. Buy it if you can find it!!!

A Saint in the making!

Therese Neuman needs to be rediscovered by this younger generation of readers. I first learned of her while reading that spiritual classic book "Autobiogrpahy a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda back in the 1950's. When I read this book it completed the picture for me and filled in the missing years and details of her life. The author moved to the San Jose area and attended church at Saint Lawerence in Santa Clara. I talked to his perish priest back in the 1990's and at the time he was still alive - although I am no longer sure since he was born in 1910. This book is uplifting and inspiratonal. A must read for all seekers of inner peace and truth.

Review form the Publisher

Therese Neumann was perhaps the most visited stigmatist in the history of the church. Mr. Vogal, a friend of the Neumann family, has set down only things he knows from his own experience of things told him by Therese herself by Father Naber, who was her spiritual director or by others who also knew Therese personally He describes Therese's Passion ecstasies, her stigmata, her miraculous receptions of Holy Communion, her abstinence from 1926-1962 from all food and drink except the Eucharistic Host, her living without sleep, her visions and the language phenomenon, her mystical recognition of priests and relics, her recognition of the Holy Eucharist and priestly blessings; her cureS and prophecies, and her bilocation and other mystical gifts. The author describes Therese's activities during World War II, the official investigation by the Church, conversions through her intercession, the rest of the Neumann family, criticisms by her opponents, the throngs of visitors who came to see her statements on her by priests, bishops and cardinals, the paternal interests of Pope Pius XI and Pope Pius XII, and the progress of her Cause for Beatification. Also included here are numerous photographs, including photos of Therese in the Passion ecstasy Great! 210pp. 24 Illustrations. P.B. Imprimatur.

Therese Neumann ,Mystic and Stigmatist /Adalbert Vogl

I feel so inspired everytime I read a page or chapter. I am amazed at the abundance of mystical experiences that Therese had throughout her lifetime. From her many visions recorded by the author I now have absolute belief in the events of the New Testament and many other saints then and now. I feel really good that the author spent many years with Therese, her family and many associates giving this book another aspect of authenticiy. This book is a must read for people of all faiths.
