Algebraic Codes for Data Transmission, (Publ in 2003)

This book is really very good. But I wish it had more numerical egs of non-trivial nature. With the help of Matlab and many self-worked-out trial egs, I have been able to grasp, but I wonder really how many people would have that much patience or time to go through that much effort. When I wrote to the author about some doubts and some corrections, I did not get any response (so far). May be the author's email is diff.I was wondering if the reviewer of the previous book : "Theory and Practice of Error Control Codes" could send me his email id so that I could exchange my doubts with him atleast. Also, if he or someone is aware of the author's correct email id, could they pl pass it on to me.My email id is : sundark100@yahoo.com
Excellent

This is one of the best books on the subject, also great for anyone who thought linear algebra was boring. Get the 2nd edition though, titled "Algebraic codes for data transmission" --- it is more easily available.
