what an amazing piece of work this turned out to be. Don't be fooled by the cover (la-de-da), as it looks fairly second rate, this is an invaluable text for any one just starting a theatre related course. It is succinct yet witty and goes into great depth about technique and history. More importantly however, i think this book is a revelation to everyday communication. Any one who finds themselves unable to compete in underlying meaning during conversation would learn a lot. Parents too, a great help!
