Nathan Gottlieb's "The Zukovka Experiment" is one terrific book. The writing is excellent, the plot compelling and the characters well drawn. This is a real page-turner, full of surprises, even for those of us who like to think we've figured out the plot early on. This book will not disappoint -- I've been recommending it to all my friends who enjoy well-written, intriguing fiction. Am now searching for more books by this fine writer.

I soon found myself absorbed in the creative intelligence of this cold war era thriller. It is action packed, suspenseful and at times gripping. In anticipation of the next twist or turn, I was rarely disappointed and frequently pleasantly surprised. The author succeeded in keeping me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed taking the time out to obtain and read this highly entertaining book.

Nathan Gottlieb's "The Zukovka Experiment" is a work of masterful intrigue, keeping the reader invoked in the plot till the very end. Although I read it 10 years ago, I vividly remember the character of Alex Palmer (the muckracking author) who unfolds the mystery connecting Yuri Demichev (a young russian elite) and Daniel Johnson (a truck driver) in USA. The story stretches over 5 decades and involves international strategy and betrayal at the highest levels of the Oval office. Dont miss a chance to read it!!
