The Zodiac Experience

I have followed the meditations/initiation rites in this book and they are really wonderful. Most pagan rites are by the Moon cycles or the Sun Harvest celebrations, this is completely different; these take you through the signs of the zodiac. Patricia Crowther give sound advice and detailed meditations that deepen the understanding and knowledge of astrology. What better way to learn about Aries, taurus, gemini...etc, then by meeting the gods who rule those signs and talk to them yourself (Mars, Venus, Mercury....etc) After this book, I was able to read charts. It gave me a profound understanding of astrology in a way no other book can.

Excellent book on the zodiac archetypes

Patricia Crowther displays her usual knowledgeable approach to this subject in this fine collection of studies about the archetypal meanings behind each zodiac sign. Don't look for the typical book on astrology here--Crowther writes for serious mystics and occultists. She devotes a chapter each to the history and lore behind each sign, and offers a vivid and excellent pathworking (a meditative journey) for each one. This is an essential book for any student of the occult.
