A 4 year-old's favorite

We checked this book out at the library and have renewed it a few times. So we are buying our own copy. My daughter brings this one to be read alot. The story is very sweet and I love the illustration.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

The Yellow Tutu is the most darling story I've read in years. I have two children ages 3 and 6 who adore it. PRECIOUS DARLING WONDERFUL!!

Makes me want to get a tutu of my own.

My daughter has a copy of this book and I must say she loves it. She and her friend love emulating the the main characters, Margo and Pearl, as well as admiring the book's fantastic artwork. I've read the book and it definitely promotes qualities that we all want to see in our children. My daughter now owns a tutu so she can wear it on her head like Margo and Pearl. Watching her, I kind of get the urge to wear one on my head too. This book carries a strong, positive message and is ideal for any child's collection. Highly Recommended!

beautiful book with lovely lesson

This book tells the tale of a girl who follows where her imagination leads her and does things her own way, namely by putting her tutu on her head and imagining she's the sun. Her flights of fancy are perfectly realized in the evocative text and gorgeous watercolor illustrations. She doesn't get a friendly reception from other kids at first, but one kindred spirit joins her world of fun. The book provides an excellent lesson about sticking up for your own dreams and someone else's. There's lots of fun in store when you befriend a creative free spirit! And there's lots of fun in store for families who read this book to their children and luxuriate in Margo's imaginary world for a short while. It inspires little ones to dream up bigger dreams.
