Global Yellow Peril?

This British perspective on Yellow Peril covered a bias history over one hundred years. Yellow Peril was coined and created by Kaiser Wilhelm described on page 252 with the title of “Nations of Europe, defend your faith and homes”, a justification of their savage colonization of Asia. In late 19th century anti-Chinese sentiment, 1876, American government did a lengthy report on Chinese people, racial inferior, once mastered western technology, would outsell Westerners, and military dangerous for diaspora would act as government agent. Mr Trump resurrected these three points to wage a cold war on China, history repeats? Christopher did a good job in the research of the evil Chinese on film, Dr Fu Manchu, a devilish punching scum to divert everyday crisis. They need to invent some imagine character to fight against in order to boost self immature confidence. Dr. No was the first James Bond movie in a mad scientist. This book is interesting to read with long chapters and pictures related to this subject. He spent some dull chapters on his dealing with Dr Fu’s author Sax Rohmer’s widow. Yellow Peril of creating a rise of Chinaphobia is over a century old, a hegemony projection of their own image onto China for a justification hot war! The bipartisan national policy to Fight China came from Trump to Biden with a declaration - being competitive when it should be, collaborative when it can be, and adversarial when it must be. Who is American Moses to lead out from this war mentality? This book helps politicians to wake up on this fantasy!
