Another home run for this collection.

I shudder to think of how many stories this editorial team must read in order to cull this many masterpieces in one place!! I have NEVER found one in this yearly series that has disappointed me. Some of the stories in this year's edition fell on the Fantasy side, some landed squarely in Horror. Some blended the two. I won't mention individual stories, but suffice to say that while some were just mildly entertaining, some of them demanded that I immediately re-read them. One of them blew my mind so much that I called my reading group and told them that I was picking that months story to read. They hemmed and hawed because it was "out there", but overwhelmingly loved it. Buy this book.
