I wanted to learn about the Yavapai people and their history and this book was enlightening.
factual documentary of westward expansion days

This is a factual book, apparently well-researched about the native people of north central Arizona. Unbiased and full of facts, this is not a storybook. Beginning briefly with pre-whiteman beliefs, customs and lifestyles of the Yavapai, the book then mentions early Spanish exploration. The bulk of the book centers around whiteman's first arrival to stay. The book continues with the history leading to the current conditions. Black-and-White photographs are included. Some proofreader's oversights might make one question the quality of content, but I have found nothing to be unqualified about the book.
