Return to Fear Street 2 (The WRONG Girl)

A prank gone horribly wrong. Can this lead to a murderer? Despite Poppy Miller living in Shadyside, near Fear Street, she complains there's nothing fun to do. At least, boring isn't deadly. However, Jack Sabers shows up, offering to liven up Poppy's and her friends' lives. Poppy's current boyfriend, Keith Carter, decides to play it safe and leave. Meanwhile, Poppy's other friends — Ivy, Jeremy, and Manny — decide to stick around and videotape the harmless prank. Jack, Poppy, Ivy, Jeremy, and Manny create their YouTube channel called "Shadyside Shade," where all their prank videos go. Regardless of how innocent the pranks seem, Poppy gets burned by her friends' betrayal, and she is on the warpath called revenge. Shortly after, someone is murdering her friends off one by one. Could it be Poppy getting her revenge, or is someone framing her? Reading this book is the only way to find out which it is. This one had my head spinning. Again, so many suspects I couldn't narrow it down until the end. R.L. Stine includes some hard-to-swallow topics, such as self-harm. This book is fictional, but the issues displayed in this book are genuine. If anyone is considering self-harm or any other matters, I recommend that you get the proper help needed. In spite of that, R.L. Stine has written a fantastic suspenseful story. I am fond of Poppy and her friends' perspectives throughout the book. Each chapter is told by Poppy or one of her friends. I can't wait to read the last book.
