In response to the previous reviewer: In Romans 2:5 (the very next verse), Paul says, "But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God." Jesus' death did not propiate the sins of the whole world. If that were so, then all would be saved. And clearly, from Scripture, that is not the case. The "whole world" then must refer to Jews and Gentiles (i.e., not just Jews). MacArthur represents God's wrath biblically.
