This work presents advice for surviving the worst that college has to offer - how to survive terrifying institutional meals, nightmare roommates, boring classes, and stadium riot.
This is a great high school graduation gift for anyone that's sure to be a hit.

I got this for my nephew who just went to college and he has found it very funny. He likes all the survival books and he said that him and his friends at college like this one

It is a pretty good little book in the same line of other "Worst Case Scenario Guide of...." Nothing spectacular, but if you like the other books, you will enjoy this one.
A Good Worst-Case Scenario Book for Your College Student
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 19 years ago
If you've never read a Worst-Case Scenario book before, read one. Each one is highly irreverent in its own way. This one has practical advice like "How to Ask Your Parents for Money" and "How to Avoid Going to the Wrong College", but also has goofy sections like "How to Put Out a Microwave Fire". Even the goofy sections have practical advice, although hopefully your college student will never have to use it. These books are a lot of fun. Check out the others, also.

I felt this book was a fairly quick read. I read it in one night. Its funny, and gives you many good tips from how to choose the perfect mattress to how to avoid the walk of shame. A lot of it were some good points how to know if your school is right for you, when are the best days for visiting. If you were to read this book I would reccommend spending an hour at Barnes and Nobles and reading. I mean its good, but that $14 could have been spent somewhere else.
