Complete and Realistic guide to pregnancy

Dr. Greenfield's book is a complete informative book that provides pertinent information and comfort to those women considering or experiencing pregnancy. Her facts are accurate and reflect the latest "state-of-the-art" medical and technical knowledge. She addresses issues about the human emotional element that are sometimes forgotten in books of this nature. I highly recommend this book to all women of child-bearing age.

Fantastic source of information

This book is very well done. It reads like a conversation that every pregnant woman would hope to have with her OB/GYN...while the title may lead you to belive it's only about being pregnant in the workplace, it is actually much more broad than that and covers all aspects of pregnancy from pre-conception to after delivery. An excellent resource.

Best combo formal/informal info ever

This is the book many women have been waiting for - it contains all of the thorough, up to date and accurate "doctor" information on surviving a working pregnancy AND all the information you'd get over coffee from your friends who've been through it - and their friends who've been through it (if you had time to go for (decaf) coffee!). It's really a helpful resource for any pregnant woman - working out of the home or not - because of the plethora of relevant and useful information. Great gift for expectant moms.

Better than the rest!

There is a plethora of pregnancy books out there - but this is the one complete book you can use for medical, social, personal and family-related advice and information. It covers pre- and post- pregnancy issues, discusses all the month-by-month expectations (better than that "other" pregnancy book!) and really delves into the issues in an adult and professional manner. The quotes and anecdotes from employed mothers provided by Dr. Greenfield range from heartfelt to witty, and often provide that "aha!" moment of identification - I sure wish this book had been around when I was personally facing many of the issues presented. Whether you are an executive woman, factory worker, nurse or lawyer, this book covers the common bonds of making a living and getting through the work day while dealing with the physical, emotional and practical issues of pregnancy.

Amazing!

This book covers everything!!! It really emphasizes the importance of being aware of everything that could happen in pregnancy and labor. Dr. Greenfield presents the information in a conversational manner that does not scare the reader. I really feel that I benefited from reading this book.
