Good but a little outdated

I don't know how many of these businesses were affected by the current economy but most of the applicable businesses have closed or if you do more in-depth research, reviews are mixed regarding payment or overall operation. If you must buy this book, do not part with more than half the amount of $ you are not likely to miss (ex. $1-$5 before shipping.

The Work at Home Source Book

This is a great source for those who would like to work at home by starting a business of their own. It details many professions, providing helpful hints on capital required as well as resources to assist in beginning your venture. This is not a source for those who wish to work from home as an employee, but instead, a source for those who are more entrepreneural in nature. Every profession you can think of that can be run from home is listed. This is a very helpful and informative resource, although it is not one that would help those who are not interested in starting their own businesses.

This book contains valuable information and gives great ideas that make you think outside the box. I didn't realise how many options I have to find a satisfying job that I can run from my home on flexible time. The Work-from-home Sourcebook has been very helpful. I'd highly recommend it!

Had some useful information and ideas

I did not actually contact any of the companies listed in the book, but the book was helpful for me in my work at home solution. It gave me several ideas on different things that can actually be done from home. Some of the actual businesses listed in the book do only hire local residents and unfortunately they were not in my state. It did give me some encouragement and ideas in my search. I did think that the book was helpful for me.
