Not the book i needed

I would like to know where to return these books that you have sent me since none of them are what I

The books you have sent me the last five are not what I ordered. I would like to return all of these. I would like to know where to return them and the cost to ship them back to you since none of them are what I ordered.

Poor quality and illegible

This is a very poor quality digital reproduction. The text is small and completely illegible unless you use a magnifying glass. I’m not really sure what they’re trying to accomplish here.

This is for the Sandy Creek edition

That edition was published in 2009. It is impossible to buy an 1854 edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz because Frank L. Baum was born in 1856. The book was first published in 1900.

I never received this book, ordered twice

never received,

Poor Quality Digital Print

This book is a poor quality digital print of a poor quality scan. The captions are illegible. The words fade into the background. It's a bad quality book. I will be returning it.

A reader and an uncle

I have not found a more beautifuly illustrated book yet, in any genre of book. This book is marvelous! This is the Wizard of Oz book to own. The pictures are very different from the movie, but incredibly beautiful and enchanting. The realistic and fantasy lighting in this book is beyond description, its the very best of any chilrens book I have ever seen. My mother gave me this book when I was a child and I have cherished it ever since. The story could not be presented in a more complimentary and beautiful way, its wonderful. I recommend this to anyone, parents, child, or single adult, the book is wonderful! It may be hard to find, but it is well worth it. This book will teach its readers and viewers to aprechiate great art.

A Superb All-Round Wonderful Wizard

This well-illustrated version of The Wizard of Oz is what I regard as a definitive gift-book edition of the story. Santore's superb illustrations speak for themselves and serve as vivid and real pictorial depictions of Baum's enchanting fantasy world. In addition, the carefully-condensed text flows so smoothly that the story moves ever vforward, without the transient episodes, that it does not seem lacking at all. I know that some readers might find the story lacking with omissions and such, but it is not a serious problem because the essence is still there. In short, a superb book for any fan of Oz, and any new readers encountering this world for the first time.

The Wonderful Wizard - A Wonderful Classic & Must Have Book!

From the time I learned to read until my preteen years my favorite books were L. Frank Baum's Oz Books. I was an extremely avid reader but, for me, no other stories could compare with the magical world that Baum created. His characters and their adventures fueled my childhood fantasies like no others. In turn, these books became favorites of my daughter's. And this book, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" is the one that started it all.As most folks know, an enormous cyclone suddenly hit young Dorothy Gale's home in Kansas, resulting in the extraordinary transportation of said home, girl and dog across time and space to the wondrous land of Oz. The house fell on a wicked witch and killed her, with dire future consequences for Dorothy and Company. Dorothy is directed to travel to the Emerald City to ask the Wizard of Oz to help her return to Kansas. On the way, she meets and befriends a Scarecrow (who desires brains), a Tin Woodman (who craves a heart), and a Lion (who wants to possess courage). And thus the famous adventures begin, which have been translated into many languages for children around the world. If there was ever a classic children's book - this is it.Baum's narrative honors the ideals of home, heart, intellect, and courage. He introduces the reader to wizards, witches, winged monkeys, the Munchkins, and the beloved characters who have become cultural icons: Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. This edition features W. W. Denslow's illustrations, the original art that graced Baum's books, and my favorites. This is a wonderful, non-abridged edition of one of the best stories ever told. Highest recommendations!JANA

One of the Best!

I borrowed this book from a library one time and I loved it! It was really fun to read and it was different from the movie in parts. They go to different lands like China Town where the whole land is made of China! I would highly recommend borrowing or even buying this book! All ages and genders would love it!
