This book you will to be able to put down until the mystery is solved. Great Book

Great book!

Could not put this book down, one of my favorites that she has written so far!

Mystery until the very end.

Ruth will have you guessing almost to the last page!

Done in one day!

Very engrossing, captivating, and mysterious. My second book by this author, and it did not fall short.Adventurous heroine never gives up, and beats all odds. Beat up, left for dead, you name it...she pulls through but in a believable way. The tidied-up ending leaves you with a good feeling...

so good!!!

i never knew what to expect!

Fantastic!!!

Couldn’t put it down!

Enjoyed this book!

Some parts were kinda boring or long winded but enjoyed it overall.

I wanted to love it

I wanted to love this book. I couldn't finish it. The main character was so dull and irresponsible and a drunk. There are so many unnecessary characters. I understand anxiety and how it affects a person's life but the excessive descriptions of her constant panic attacks get very boring. She's terrible at her job and very annoying. I felt no emotion for her or any characters really. I would give this zero stars if I could. I don't recommend this book. Even when I'm talking to others about what I've read I always bring up how much I disliked this book. Don't waste your money.

Ruth Ware never disappoints!

Like every single one of her books you can never fully guess the ending! While you may think you have it figured out the ending always has a few twists you can’t quite figure out with her books and this one is not the exception! A beautiful high end cruise, complete with luxury spas, fine dining, and a mystery you just can’t figure out. What secrets is the ship hiding and just how far will you go to try and figure them out? Is your life and very sanity worth risking to unfold them?

A nice beach read

This book was a good, quick read. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy thrillers.

Didn't meet expectations

Main character never grabbed my attention. Story line was weak and made for a boring read. I expected a good mystery and didn't care for lack of character development.

Great condition

Came as expected.

Held my interest and a great twist

This book is typical for author Ware. There’s always a good twist in each book and this one didn’t disappoint.

Worth the read

A little slow at times but it is definitely worth the read. Good book!

I absolutely 💕 loved this 📚 book, I couldn't stop reading it, I did read all of it though, within

I would highly recommend buying this book and reading it it's really a great book.

Couldn't put it down!

This book held my interest because I honestly had no clue what would happen next. I love Ruth Ware as her books always grip onto me. I couldn't put it down!

One of the worst books I have ever read.

Heroin was a dip, kept doing ridiculously stupid things.

Upset

Wish I could have read the book. But it came in heavy water damaged. Very disappointed

Time waster

This is a book that starts off fine and deteriorates as it proceeds. In the end, the story is preposterous. Actually stopped reading with 15 or 20 pages to go. Don’t waste your time.

Suspenseful Non-Stop

It was full of surprises and suspense, beautifully written. It was a page turner until the very end.

Obsessed!

This book did a great job of getting you invested while also keeping you on your toes! I couldn’t put it down!!

Interesting ending....if you can get to it

The beginning of the book grabbed my attention. The middle of the book not only confused me but also lost my attention. I stuck it out, to see how it would end. Wasnt the twist I suspected and the ending was rather engaging as the beginning of the book was. If you can stick out the middle it is worth it.

Ehh

It takes a while for the story to get interesting in my opinion.

Didnt live up to the hype.

Main character is extremely annoying which makes it difficult to get through. It's an easy read and conclusion was okay. Would not read again.

Great read

I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read and had an unexpected turn! I look forward to reading more from this author.

What a fantastic read!!

Held my attention from the first couple of pages. The author's writing style is flawless and effective, without any unnecessary fillers. Loved the ending. Highly recommend!

Excellent mystery

Well done mystery on the high seas. Thoroughly enjoyable to the end.

Meh.

It sounded interesting but didn't have the depth that I like, even in mystery novels. The plot was predictable and the characters were one-dimensional.

Not what Expected

I read this book in two days. I did not expect it to turn out they way I had planed in my head. I thought they would find a dead woman and it would be your typical murder case. Nope, it wasn't your typical murder case. It's been awhile since I read this book and I think about the story from time to time. It is a book I will read again.

💞 it.

This was another great book to read i read most of these books 📚 all in less than either a month or a week.that's how perfect the book was.

1⭐ The Woman in Cabin 10 Ruth Ware It was a struggle to give this book even 1 ⭐. I Thought this was one of the most poorly written books I have ever read. I should have read the reviews. How did this book get on the best sellers list? Is every heroine from the UK a drunken, whining, "unreliable" witness? The author even goes so far to tell us numerous times that her heroine is a drunken unreliable witness as if we couldn't figure this out by ourselves. There are so many things wrong with this book, One of the worst books of the year. Poorly written, ridiculous characters, contrived and uninteresting plot. Totally bogged down with the narcissistic lead character who was neither interesting nor compelling. Waste of time and money.I haven't read a book where I detested the main character more than I despised this one. She is a claustrophobic, alcoholic, neurotic insomniac. She’s also a total screwup at her job, and honestly, not very bright. Her house was just broken into so you’re trying to cut her a break, but her nonstop complaining— it’s too hot, it’s too cold, the ceilings are too low, the room’s too small, my clothes smell, I’m too sleepy, I’m too hungry, I’m not hungry, I’m hungover, etc.— is getting to you. Plus there’s the counting to herself (One, Two, Three…!) and the constant, random weeping. She’s a hot mess. It was such an Awful. Extremely slow, plodding story line with a completely unlikeable main character. Chapter 28 and I still can't figure out why there is such a myriad of characters that aren't contributing a thing to the story. I suggest saving yourself time and money and pass on this book. I wish i did. I found myself wishing fervently that someone would toss her overboard, I knew that this book was not going to be a favorite. She has been comped a luxury cruise, so that she can report on it for publication. Despite all the enviable perks received, she has written nothing, and is getting a reputation on the ship as a whack job. She is unendingly rude to passengers and staff alike. Her whining and constant neurotic view of everything and everyone she encounters is so prevalent that it is practically a character by itself. Discretion on any level is beyond her grasp, yet she wonders how everybody know intimate details of her pathetic private life. If I were her boss, I would fire her. If I were an ex-lover like Ben, I would be thanking my lucky stars that I was no longer involved with her. I really wanted to love this book, because the premise was so intriguing, but her entire life seems to be one long panic attack, and I got really exhausted after the tenth or eleventh round of hyperventilation and rubbery legs. By the middle of the book, I was praying that her panic would become so severe that she would need to be air-lifted to the closest looney bin. She has so many phobias that it is hard keeping track. I apologize to anyone who loved it, but the biggest improvement that could be made would have involved drowning, bludgeoning, or stabbing Lo to death with that GD borrowed mascara. The ending was ridiculous. I wish I could have my money back. This book really makes women look weak and stupid.

It's eh

At first I was pretty into it and then as it kept going I found myself feeling like maybe I had skipped pages. It goes from her being attacked in her home to being stuck on a boat being attacked. And then the news clippings talking about her being dead it made me completely lose interest. All of a sudden I didn't find myself panicking for her and telling myself that she will make it and the truth will come out, all because she's dead. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

I know I’m going to love this book. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. I know this is not the normal way

Dull and insulting, albeit unfinished

This review will be updated: I want to leave a review as currently I'm unable to carry on reading this book, and want to share why. In the first 15 pages, our female protagonist is painted as irresponsible, insecure, unsure, unqualified at work, contradictory, dense, inept, psychotic, repetitive, and somehow still completely flat. As a female, this is frustrating. As a reader, this is frustrating. She lucks into the Work Invitation that opens up the real plot of the book, and states she doesn't even know how she got it; I'm hard pressed to be interested as we're given a shallow few sentences about her work. In general, the writer has provided so little foundation, I can't bring myself to care about this woman's ramblings -- despite the frightful happening that occurs in the first chapter -- nor am I able to develop a well-rounded idea of her because all we're given is the aforementioned ridiculousness. The syntax is so dry and uniform I found myself skipping full paragraphs or pages, and when forcing myself to return and read them, confirmed they truly had no influence on the plot whatsoever. This novel seems like the very first draft -- no long term editing, no plot point editing, no character editing, no thematic editing. I'm sure when I lock myself in a room for a day and force myself to finish this, it could very well have some exciting points, but again as nothing has been developed appropriately, I just don't care. It's like starting a movie in the middle -- I see what's going on and it's mildly interesting, but I don't have the background to be engaged. If you're looking for a thriller that grabs you by the throat from the first chapter and doesn't let go, Behind Closed Doors or The Girl Before is a better place to start. Again, will update upon completion. Ye be warned!

A wonderful thriller!!

While reading, "The Women In Cabin 10" so many shocking twist and turns where happening, it was hard to put the book down! I definitely recommend reading this book, or any book by Ruth Ware. Ware's book "In a Dark Dark Wood" was also a wonderful book to read and she is clearly a great author.
