The reader guesses what animal will finally be revealed as specific features such as eyes, ears, and nose appear on pages in a cumulative manner. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a very simple book. Page by page, it "builds" a wolf, one body part at a time ("This is my nose..." "This is my eye..."). Once the wolf is all there, we find out what he's having for lunch - and you may be surprised at what it is! This is a nice little book for introducing body parts as well as for building up suspense in a story. Bonus: the artwork is pretty cool, too!
The Wolfs Lunch: A brief overview
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
The Wolf's Lunch is an excellent book for a baby. I read it to mine , and it is by far his favorite. I have had to repair it with duck tape because it has been loved so well by us both. My son has cut his literary teeth and his actual teeth on this one. I was delighted when my son growled along with me as I made the wolf growling sounds. It is not scary. It is wonderfully illustrated. The Wolf's Lunch is a charming story which moves along at the perfect pace.
