General summary for the first time novice

For those not experienced or exposed to the relationship between religion and international affairs, Roland Homet does a nice job reviewing some of the key issues. He covers ideas such as the role of the church, diplomacy, balance of powers, rogue nations, domestic intervention, human rights, globalization, and culture. Though in 108 pages he only scratches the surface, but gives other references for those wanting to pursue more in-depth study.
