The Wedding-Night Affair by Miranda Lee Harlequin Presents # 2044 - August 1999 Society Weddings themed series Once upon a time, Fiona had been the naive and vivacious Noni and she'd been head over heals in love with Philip Forsythe. Philip was from a wealthy family who frowned on his choice of bride. Playing on her love for Philip, his family convinced her that she would only ruin his life and he'd grow to hate her, so she left. Shedding all trace of Noni, Fiona has become a sophisticated and successful businesswoman; a partner consultant of Five-Star Weddings. It's to her shock when her partner accepts on her behalf a contract to do the social event of the year, Philip Forsythe's wedding. She's changed enough to fool Philip's mother, but all it takes is one look and Philip instantly recognizes her. He agrees to use her consultancy services, if she'll finally be honest with him and answer some questions about what exactly happened ten years ago. But Fiona can't tell him the truth, because that would make her vulnerable to falling for him all over again, and Phillip is about to marry someone else. The chemistry between Fiona and Phillip is as potent as it ever was. There are alot of twists and turns to this story that keep you turning the pages to find out what's going to happen next to these star-crossed lovers. Neither have been able to shake the other from their dreams. Ms. Lee has written a compelling story with wonderful characters and an interesting plot. A great read :D

i really enjoyed this book. the story was a good one, with a little something different. the love story was almost heartbreaking and the female lead was not some sappy women. fiona was what a real women would be today, not just the fairytale stuff we are forced read about women. the sex scenes were very passionate between the two characters. overall this was a exceptional book. thanks miranda lee
