Devotion to the souls in purgatory

This book is meant to be prayed walking from station to station in the church or outside if stations of the cross have been erected on the premise of a church. The book starts with the Act of Contrition and an offering of the prayers you will say for all your relatives and friends in purgatory. Each station brings to light specific sins that can place you in purgatory. Then you pray for the souls in purgatory suffering from that sin . Just a beautiful devotion for the souls in purgatory.

Solid special purpose Way of the Cross

The Way of the Cross for the Holy Souls in Purgatory begins with a consideration of the orgin of the Way of the Cross and of the House in Ephesus to which John took Mary after the death of Jesus. The stations are illustrated by black and white photos of mosaic depictions of the stations. Each station contains a responsory, a meditative prayer with intentions for oneself and for the souls in Purgatory; after a cry for mercy the Our Father and Hail Mary are said. Two formulas of prayers for mercy on the souls in purgatory close out the station.
