A guide for the virtuous

This book is a great old collection of wisdom for anyone to who wants the respect of their subjects; or subordinates. It is not a long book but is a series of quotes and thoughts related to being a respectable leader. It is ogranized into different sections on vitue, fairness, daily routine and image, etc. I found it can be generally applied to bussinss management or any form of leadership; as long as you do not get carried away.
