This was the first manuscript I had ever written and when I began to compose it in 1986, I intended to just emphasize the injustice to Blacks and the Black racism I experienced in Vietnam. Because I was still dealing with the war within me, I buried this manuscript. But in 1995, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior.
